The first try was usable, but never got as far as I would have liked. I had to go back to my studies and had a number of other things to do as well. Having finished studying, when I look back, I don't like the architecture any more, although I was proud of it when I did it. You always learn...
I plan on doing this again. There is much code here that can be reused, but much needs to be refactored. I am in the process of creating a satisfying software architecture draft and will hopefully be able to start working on the PHP part in some months.
If YOU want to be part of this, give me a wink on the old Forum or drop me a mail. I am going for PHP >= 5.2 and using many of it's new abilities.
